Often the people you meet at one of the roundtables, during a meal or at one of the networking events will become a good friend and someone to call when you need advice from another company.  The networking events are always top notch.  In fact, one year the dinner included exclusive access to a theme park and afterwards we were treated to a private Beach Boys concert!  I became great friends with Tom at Dillards from our consecutive rollercoaster rides!  And this year – dinner at the Cowboy Stadium?  No way!!  So – don’t wander off and do your own thing – you’ll probably miss something.
