It’s week three of May is Marketing Month and it’s time for another webinar recap.

Yesterday Shop.org put together a webinar tackling paid search and how to predict your way to SEM success. Industry experts from Adlucent, ASOS, and Buy.com shared their insights on how they are mastering the art of predicting what products will sell and when they will sell. As you all know in the competitive search world – not only do you have to move fast, you have build a forward looking model to take your retail business to the next level.

I have included a few of the tips that were covered in the webinar for you below:

1. Use Google Insights to Uncover Category and Subcategory trends and Understand Regional Demand
2. Encourage Communication Between Buyers, Merchandising, and SEM teams – For example, sharing with search data with merchandising teams when high demand products could benefit from better landing pages.
3. Leverage Seasonal Trends for Advertising Priorities (Toys, High fashion, etc) – Our retailers discuss this and then break down how to do it.
