People have been asking about the video that played between Terry Lundgren’s and Sucharita Mulpuru’s keynotes about the popularity of social media. The video asks, “Is social media a fad, or is it the biggest shift since the industrial revolution?”

    I enjoyed showing this to the entire Bazaarvoice team yesterday. Terrific find! There is no doubt a huge, huge movement underway. We only understand a fraction of its impact today.

    Electronic communication has developed and will continue to do so at supersonic speed: can you imagine what this does to an old geezer like me (63) who stills remembers the delivery of milk and ice in horse-drawn vehicles (and it was in a big western city too)!!
