Writing this at the reception and enjoying the free wine and wifi. I promised the fellow who sat next to me during this talk to post my notes – notes taken during a session packed with a variety of nuggets that nicely filled in the taxonomy of social media. Why the raw notes? Well, some may argue that I am trying to get back to the reception but in reality, I don’t want to synthesize this subject since we are still in the figuring out phase. Perhaps this data dump may spark your own particular insights but if there is a truth, it’s simply that social media is a tool that can help us innovate, acquire, sell and serve. Disclaimer: these notes were taken real time, they are unedited and are meant to provide a cognitive framework to help expand your thinking on the subject.
