Searching for SEO at the Annual Summit
Whether in a recession, an economic boom, and everything in between, SEO has always been an area where our members are thirsty for more information on how to improve their current efforts. For many retailers SEO can be one of the most efficient and productive sales and cost acquisition channels, and the slightest tweak to SEO strategy can make a big difference in overall results.
At the Shop.org 2009 Annual Summit the content team has made sure that we have plenty of valuable sessions on SEO strategy and tactics throughout the entire event. Starting with our Online Boot camp, top ranked Shop.org speaker Stephan Spencer will share his 7 steps for SEO success that includes tips to improve in areas such as keywords and content, site architecture, competitor analysis, social media optimization, and much more. If you have not signed up for our Online Boot Camp do so soon, the numbers are skyrocketing and we may need a bigger room.
On Tuesday the 22nd, we have more SEO content as the first half of our award winning “40+ Things You Can Do To Make More Money Next Week” session is made up entirely of SEO advice. Learn from our series of speakers as they share in 7 minutes each SEO tips that can be implemented right away and produce immediate results. Immediately after this session is over, walk over to our “Customer Experience” track as Dustin Engel from Range Online Media will moderate a retailer panel about achieving “Site Harmony” by creating an optimal balance between site design and search engine optimization.
But wait….there is more! Wednesday afternoon will kick off with Stephan Spencer returning to the stage with a new type of session titled, “Extreme Makeover: SEO Edition.” For this session, Stephan has spent countless hours prior to the session reviewing the sites of his retail panelists and finally redesigning and deconstructing their sites from a SEO perspective. The retailers have no idea what is coming, and you will be able to take Stephan’s ideas and advice and apply it to your business.
Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can walk your through the agenda for the Summit. We have numerous content options and I want to make sure that every one of our attendees gains information to help them reach their business goals. Thanks, and I’ll see you in Vegas!
