New Annual Summit Deadline: A Letter From Scott

As a retail member of Shop.org, your company receives one free pass to each of our core events – including the 2009 Annual SummitFriday August 14th is now the deadline for redeeming your company’s free pass for the Annual Summit.

The August 14th deadline is new. Previously retail members could redeem their free pass up until September 18th. But with our earlier conferences this year we learned that the very late deadline resulted in many very last-minute registrations. On the one hand, it’s nice to have the flexibility up until the 11th hour. But last-minute registrations invariably mean higher airfares, fewer affordable hotel room options, and less time to pre-connect with other attendees to make the most of your experience.

Late registrations also mean we have to market to you more aggressively. Even if you can afford the higher airfare, wouldn’t a few less emails be nice?

Obviously, we don’t think you should attend the Summit just because it’s free. Here are some reasons why the Summit is a fantastic investment, no matter what the price:

  • The most diverse keynote lineup in Shop.org history
  •  Concurrent tracks focused on near-term ROI and accountability
  •  A remarkable and productive EXPO experience, with 100+ exhbitors, Guided EXPO Hall tours,   Big !deas sessions, and many hours of networking
  • The Shop.org Boot Camp with 6 sessions covering the biggest issues in digital retail, including Search, Analytics, Email, Social Media, Conversion and A/B Testing

Everything you need to register is here. Then find the lowest airfares with our travel widget, and reserve a $79 room at the 4-star Luxor while they last.

I’m looking forward to seeing you in Vegas.

Sincerely,

Scott
