Of all of the events, the Merchandising Workshop always has a special feel and a powerful energy.  Maybe because it takes place in southern California in July, or maybe it is due to the unique focus of the content, but for many members of the community this is the event they look forward to throughout the year.   This will be my fourth Merchandising Workshop as a staff member, and it truly amazing at how much and the entire industry has changed in just a few years.

Artemis and I have worked very hard to tailor this content to our Optimization theme and make this what could be the best Merchandising Workshop yet.  We will hear from retailers from a huge variety of verticals (travel, outdoor gear, movie tickets, shoes, etc. etc.) on how they drive conversion and a superior customer experience to truly optimize their eCommerce and cross-channel merchandising programs.  We have a number of new speakers plus returning favorites to help provide what our community has come to expect from workshops, practical and tactical information that you can take back to your office and implement into action.   Our sponsors and exhibitors have made this all possible, so I invite everyone to spend time in our EXPO Hall getting to know your potential partners that can help make your business all it can be.  Plus, we never forget to have fun and I invite everyone to come to the opening reception and we have a special surprise at the dinner on Tuesday night.   All I can say is bring a camera!

I wish all of our attendees safe travels and I am looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones.  I hope you take advantage of this unique opportunity to learn, network, and re-charge your batteries for what is yet to come.   If you do not know me already, please make every effort to seek me out and say hello.  I am always looking for feedback on our events, and I can give you a preview of our upcoming Annual Summit.   Thanks!
