Getting To Know Our Annual Summit Keynote Speakers

Greetings

The New York Times recently interviewed two of our keynote speakers at our upcoming Shop.org Annual Summit in Las Vegas as part of their “Corner Office” series.  Kudos to the NYT on the questions they posed to these retail leaders.  Their interviews of John Donahoe, President and CEO of eBay Inc. and Terry Lundgren, Chairman, President, and CEO of Macy’s Inc. gave an inside peek at their management styles and what they make a top priority in their organization.

These interviews were especially gratifying for the content team as many times our communications with our speakers revolve around their specific presentations, instead of bigger picture issues.   The reader really gets to know them as people and not simply for their vast accomplishments.   I hope you enjoy the interviews and I would love to get your feedback.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone in a few weeks in Arizona for our Marketing Workshop, in July in Coronado for our Merchandising Workshop, and for the big event — the 2009 Shop.org Annual Summit from September 21-23 in Las Vegas.  We are working hard to make sure that all of our events provide our members with undeniable ROI and the networking, content, and overall experience will help you reach your retail goals.   We are featuring many new speakers along with some member favorites at both of our workshops and our annual summit.  As always if you have any questions or comments, simply drop me a line.

Thanks
