Next week will be the first event I’ll be attending as a member of the Shop.org team, at the Strategy and Innovation Forum in lovely Orlando.  Which, at the moment, is roughly 50 degrees warmer than Washington, DC.

Two things I’m most looking forward to are the great content (which Larry will be posting about) and the opportunity to talk with online retailers.

There are a lot of great opportunities, ranging from a newly added reception and welcome dinner on Monday to dinner by the pool Tuesday to lunches and impomptu meetings.  There will also be a noticeable social media presence, with live bloggers.  We’ve just launched a Twitter account, and will be testing it out.  You’ll be able to keep track of any fellow Twitterers and we’ve also set up a hashtag at #shoporgFL to coordinate a Tweetup at lunch on Tuesday.
