Our Strategy and Innovation Forum is just about a month away, and we are excited about a number of new speakers, sessions, and features at this event.  We know that this has been a challenging few months for retail and that the future is still uncertain, but we are providing specific and essential content to help our members turn adversity into opportunity.   You can register, book your hotel, and check out our agenda at our Strategy and Innovation Forum page, and remember you can claim your free pass and sign up at the early deadline rate through this Friday January 9th.

To succeed in this recession it will truly take a village.  Retailers, solution providers, research analysts, Shop.org staff and everyone else needs to work together to create a supportive and helpful community which is what sets Shop.org apart from the rest.   One new feature of this event that truly highlights our community at it’s best is the Shop.org Innovation Contest.  Our exhibitors and sponsors have submitted their best ideas for what retailers should be doing to succeed in this economy and prepare for the future.   We are asking our retail members to select the top 5 ideas which resonate with their business needs and the winners will present their ideas in a special session on Monday afternoon at the Strategy and Innovation Forum.  Vote now to pick the strongest entries, but don’t wait as we are closing voting at the end of the day on January 16th.

We would like to thank everyone who worked hard to submit their ideas and we hope to see everyone in Orlando.  As always, if you have any questions about our content or if you have suggestions for new content ideas, we would love to hear from you.
