…or so says my cool Shop.org calendar countdown that I have put on my desktop. The whole team at Shop.org is working hard to get all of the last details taken care of for what I truly feel will be our best Annual Summit yet! In case you have not had a chance to check out the website, I have outlined a few of the highlights for you to hit when you get to Las Vegas.
- Inspiring Keynote Presentations: Featuring President and CEO of Borders Group Inc. George Jones, President of Direct from Gap Inc. Toby Lenk, Senior Analyst from Forrester Sucharita Mulpuru, and best selling author Don Tapscott.
- “Strategy” and “Tactical” Concurrent Sessions: The “Strategy” sessions cover bigger picture topics such as emerging technologies and the solution provider selection process, while our “Tactical” sessions provide practical and specific tips for success on topics such as Search, Email, and Web 2.0.
- Critics Corner: Conceived by Shop.org veteran speaker Doug Mack, these sessions feature two speakers in a Siskel and Ebert type format that debates the effectiveness of real-life examples on a variety of topics including email copy, search vs. branding, merchandising innovations, and multi-channel strategy.
- The Doctor Is In: Based on an idea by Tamara Adlin, these sessions allow for 20 minute individual tutorial sessions for attendees with industry experts on a variety of topics involving merchandising, product presentation, and usability.
- Experience Based Roundtable Sessions: Our roundtables consistently rank as one of the most valuable aspects of our events, and now attendees can select between “Intermediate” and “Advanced” level roundtables to further meet their content needs.
- Expanded EXPO Hall: Our EXPO Hall is larger then ever with over 150 solution providers and features guided exhibit hall tours and “Big Idea” sessions where sponsors will conduct 30-minute presentations designed to inform and engage attendees in new product offerings.
- Evening Event at the LAX Nightclub: Whether you are looking to party the night away at one of the hottest Las Vegas clubs or network with other industry efforts, the LAX Nightclub has something for everyone
